General Information

What are the rules for the play space area?

  • Socks must always be worn in order to enter the play area.

  • We are a shoe-less facility for the health and safety of all guests.

  • Please leave food and drinks outside of the play areas.

  • Parents are required to supervise their children at all times. Never leave your child unattended.

  • The baby and toddler area is designed and designated for children under three years of age.

  • Have fun and play safe!

Is there an age limit for the play space area?

The space is designed for children ages 0 - 8 years old. For the safety of the little ones, we do not permit children older than 10 years old in the play area.

Who can visit Nixi City?

Nixi City strives to cultivate a diverse and inclusive community of families. We welcome all families with children ages 0 - 8 years old.

What is your stroller policy?

We recommend leaving your stroller in the car as we have limited indoor parking space. Strollers brought indoors must be parked in the designated indoor stroller parking areas for the safety and cleanliness of our space.

Do you offer childcare?

Currently, Nixi City does not offer childcare. Nixi City is designed as a space for children and their adults to bond together through play while building community. All children are the responsibility of their caregiver and must be accompanied by their caregiver at all times while onsite.

Memberships

How much does a Nixi City membership cost?

Our Unlimited Monthly Play Membership costs $98.00 per month per child. Each child membership includes up to 2 adults to accompany each child.

All memberships provide a flexible cancellation policy. Your membership includes access for a single-household family. This includes 1 primary adult account holder and any additional household caregivers you may bring along with you (i.e. spouse/partner, nanny, babysitter, extended family members).

How do I become a member?

Simply visit our Memberships & Play Rates page or sign up at our front desk. Based on membership availability, we will send you an email to confirm your membership or place you on our waitlist.

Do you offer trial memberships or tours before I sign up for a membership?

We would be happy to give you and your family a full tour of our space when you visit. We also encourage families to try our play space before committing to a membership.

We don’t currently offer trial memberships. However, you may cancel your membership or further obligation within 24 hours from the membership renewal date if you find that Nixi City is not a good fit for your family.

Can I cancel my membership?

You may cancel your membership at any time by logging into your online account or canceling at our front desk. As long as you cancel within 24 hours from the monthly or annual renewal date, you will not be charged for the next subscription period.

Can I bring guests?

No, but you may allow another adult such as your partner or caregiver to utilize your membership. Your membership includes up to 2 adults to accompany each child.

Events

What kind of events can I host at Nixi City?

Nixi City hosts a variety of events from private events, birthday parties, baby showers, group meetings, pop-up shop events and much more in our 50 person capacity space. You can reserve our space and by visiting our Parties & Events page.

Do I need to be a member to host an event at Nixi City?

No, Nixi City hosts private events for members and non-members.

What is the reservation policy?

All party reservations are made on our live calendar on our website. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve the date and time.

The remaining space rental balance must be paid at least 24 hours before your event date. If the space rental balance is not received, your event date may be released back on our live calendar.

What can I expect for a birthday party at Nixi City?

Typical birthday party event schedule
0-15 minutes: Arrival + Check In
15-55 minutes: Open Play
55-75 minutes: Eat
75-90 minutes: Open Play, Entertainment, or Open Presents
90-165 minutes: Sing Happy Birthday + Cake
165-180 minutes: Say goodbye

Nixi City's team will be present during the party to greet and check-in guests and to maintain the safety and cleanliness of the space. They will also set up the party tables with plates, napkins, and cutlery, and any purchased food or drink. They are not responsible for childcare, providing entertainment, or setting up outside food or drink unless agreed upon prior to your reservation.
